Livewire Pro Training Flag System

The Livewire Pro is our premium cutting flag system for riders and trainers who want a dedicated arena installation. A durable, easy-access steel enclosure, a professional-grade motor and control system, and training features like adjustable surge and recording/playback make the Pro the right choice for busy training programs and anyone who puts horses through the system every day. If you're running cutting horses, reined cow horses, ranch sorting horses, or a full barn in a demanding schedule, the Pro is built to keep up, season after season.

Why Trainers Choose the Pro

• Durable, easy-access steel enclosure — heavy-duty construction with an easy-opening design for convenient access to internal components.
• Internal remote charging — store and charge the remote right inside the enclosure, so it's ready when you saddle up.
• Adjustable surge — customize the additional speed boost to suit the horse and your training style.
• Professional-grade motor and control system — designed for dependable everyday training.
• Remote speed control and recording/playback — run the session yourself from the saddle.
• Built for daily use — made for professional trainers, high-use programs, and serious competitors.

Construction and Power Advantages

The Pro uses our durable, easy-access steel enclosure — not FRP. The easy-opening enclosure provides convenient access to internal components, and an external antenna and external power switch keep controls straightforward at your training location. A larger motor built for demanding daily use drives the flag, and the system runs on standard 120V AC power (standard US outlet). An outdoor-rated heavy-duty extension cord is recommended; extension cord not included.

Control From the Saddle

Operate from the saddle with the included Pro remote while working on tracking, timing, rate, stops, turns, position, and body control. The Pro includes remote speed control, recording/playback, 6 speed settings, and a hard stop / soft stop toggle.

Adjustable Surge

Need more speed without changing your normal setting? Adjustable surge adds a burst of additional flag speed, and you can customize that boost to suit the horse and your training style. Turn it up to increase pressure, challenge a horse, or finish a move with more authority, and set it lower for a green or cautious horse. Release surge and the system returns to your selected training speed.

Record & Playback

Create your own flag sequence and play it back automatically, allowing you to work a horse without needing another person operating the controls. Record the movement, speed changes, direction changes, and timing you want, then let the Pro reproduce the pattern while you focus on riding.

Flag Work and Live Cattle

A flag system gives you controlled, repeatable movement you can use to work on timing, rate, position, and draw. It does not replace live cattle. The pressure, movement, and unpredictability of a live cow are different, and cattle exposure remains an essential part of training for cutting, cow horse, and ranch sorting horses. Use the Livewire Pro to supplement your cattle work and stay productive between sessions.

Persistent Pattern Memory

Create your own training sequence and save it for future sessions. Your recorded pattern stays stored even when the Livewire is powered off and remains available until you intentionally replace it with a new recording.

Questions Trainers Ask

Does the Pro need to be plugged in?

Yes. The Pro runs on standard 120V AC power from a standard US outlet. An outdoor-rated heavy-duty extension cord is recommended but not included. If your arena doesn't have convenient electrical access, the Livewire Pro Solar offers the same professional features with integrated off-grid power.

How does adjustable surge work?

Adjustable surge adds a burst of additional flag speed on demand, and you can customize the size of that boost to suit the horse and your training style. When you release surge, the system returns to your selected training speed.

Can I charge the remote inside the unit?

Yes. The Pro's enclosure features internal remote charging, so you can store and charge the remote inside the enclosure between sessions.

Can it record and play back flag patterns?

Yes. Record your own sequence and play it back automatically. On Pro units produced on or after October 1, 2026, your pattern stays stored even when the unit is powered off until you intentionally replace it.
