Livewire Cutting Systems LLC is an American company based in Jamestown, California, designing and building premium cutting flag systems for cutting horses, reined cow horses, ranch sorting horses, and working ranch horses.

Every Livewire system is designed with the rider in mind. Saddle-operated controls. Intuitive speed settings. Features like record and playback that let you focus on the horse instead of the equipment. We built what we wished existed — and we stand behind it completely.

We're not a big-box manufacturer. We're a small, family operation run by people who train horses and understand what it takes to develop a great cutting horse. When you contact us, you're talking to someone who knows the product and cares about your program.

Our Products

We offer three flag systems built for different programs and environments:

  • Livewire Lite — Portable, battery-powered, and built for home arenas, clinics, and mobile trainers. Runs on standard DeWalt or Milwaukee 20V batteries.
  • Livewire Pro — Heavy-duty steel construction for professional trainers and high-use programs. Built for daily work.
  • Livewire Pro Solar — Full professional performance with integrated solar charging — no outlet required. Ideal for remote arenas and off-grid setups.

We also carry a full line of replacement parts and accessories to keep your system running at peak performance.

Our Commitment to Quality

Every Livewire system is built to perform under real training conditions — not just look good in a product photo. We use quality materials, test our systems in working arenas, and continuously refine our designs based on feedback from trainers in the field.

All Livewire drive units carry a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Remotes are covered for 1 year. If something isn't right, we'll make it right. See our full Warranty page for details.
