At Livewire Cutting Systems, we're a small family-run business built around a passion for horses, innovation, and western traditions.

Like many horse owners, I wanted a cutting flag system that was dependable, easy to use, and packed with the features I actually needed. After researching the options available, I couldn't find a system that offered the performance I wanted at a price that made sense. So I decided to build one myself.

By trade, I'm a hydroelectric power plant technician, where reliability, precision, and attention to detail aren't optional—they're essential. I brought that same engineering mindset into designing Livewire. Every system is built to be smooth, dependable, and intuitive to operate, with features that help riders get more value out of every training session.

When I'm not at work, you'll usually find our family in the arena or on the ranch. We enjoy ranch cutting, ranch sorting, roping, and spending time with our horses. Living in the Sierra foothills of California, we're fortunate to be surrounded by a community where western values, horsemanship, and hard work are still part of everyday life.

That lifestyle shapes everything we build.

Livewire wasn't created by a large corporation or a marketing company. It was created by a horseman who wanted better equipment for his own horses and now enjoys helping others improve theirs.
